Terms of Service

Last updated: April 23, 2026

By using SongVerdict, you agree to these terms. They're meant to be readable, not lawyerly — but they're the rules.

1. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything that happens under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the digital-consent age in your country, whichever is higher).

2. Your content

You own everything you upload — lyrics, audio, comments. Uploading content gives us a limited license to store, process, and display it back to you and anyone you explicitly share with (collaborators, or the public Showcase if you publish a song). That license ends when you delete the content.

You promise that you have the rights to upload whatever you upload, and that it doesn't infringe on someone else's copyright.

3. Acceptable use

Don't use SongVerdict to:

  • • Upload content that's hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or otherwise harmful.
  • • Upload content you don't have the rights to.
  • • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse our systems.
  • • Try to manipulate scores, leaderboards, or referral rewards.
  • • Spam other users, including via collab invites.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

4. AI-generated verdicts

Scores, rankings, and verdicts are generated by AI. They're a strong second opinion, not a guarantee of commercial success or quality. Don't make life decisions based solely on a score.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Pro subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal — you'll keep Pro access until the end of the period you've already paid for. We don't issue prorated refunds for partial periods, but we'll always do the right thing if something goes wrong on our end.

6. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that pose a risk to the service or other users. On termination, your content is permanently deleted within 30 days.

7. Disclaimers

SongVerdict is provided "as is." We work hard on uptime and accuracy, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service or that scores will perfectly reflect industry reality. Use it as a tool, not a crystal ball.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to SongVerdict is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. If the changes are material, we'll notify active users by email and update the "last updated" date.
